So after moving back to Oregon in 1995, living in Tualatin for six years, we have finally settled here in Canby.
Just about 30 minutes from downtown Portland, Canby is a great location to work the city by day and get away by night.
Three rivers surround us, the Willamette being boatable- Who Rah! (Pronunciation- "Willammit dammit").
Life in Canby is somewhat slower than closer in. We are actually isolated from other cities, as the whole area around us is still farmland.
We of course arriving a little late to homestead, live in a development with only fifty feet between houses.
